Heavy Metal T Shirts – Debate

There are many opinions about wearing heavy metal t shirts to the concert. Many say that wearing the band’s t shirt to their concert is a no-no. While others prepare in advanced just to do so. There are no rules on how to dress for a rock concert. There are only opinions and/or suggestions. Take them or leave them. However, in my humble opinion, there are better things to worry about attending a rock concert. Wearing heavy metal t shirts or not wearing them should not be the focus.

Heavy Metal T Shirts – Attending a Rock Concert

For starters make sure to arrive early. Arriving early will allow you to have a restroom break, visit concessions, and purchase some heavy metal t shirts and/or rock merch. Warning! Arriving intoxicated will not just possibly get you arrested and/or thrown out by security, but will also take away time from actually watching the concert. Too many bathrooms breaks can spoil a concert. Once in your seat, make an effort to support the band. Rock bands tend to put on a better show if they are being heavily supported by the crowds.

Concerts can be very crowded places. Be polite to the people around you. You will enjoy the show much more if you are getting along with your neighbors. Try not to push or shove as many rock fans can be edgy. Do not insult the people around you and/or complain to them about their behavior. Just chill out and try to have a good time. When the crowd gets up and starts screaming, waving their arms, and dancing – then join them. Others are more than likely not trying to block your view. They are probably extremely excited about the circumstances. Many rock concerts can get a little out of control. Go with the flow as it is fine to get involved with the crowd’s singing, dancing, and screaming. But try to keep all parts of your body to yourself. Do not elbow the people beside you. This behavior could start unwanted arguing and/or fighting. You will be escorted outside the venue for fighting.

Lastly, try to enjoy yourself. The object of the concert is to have fun. Choose your ticket location wisely before making a rushed purchase. Sitting in the stands is a safer area. There are not many pushing and shoving in the stands. However, the floor is a different place. If you decide to have floor seats be prepared to a lot of pushing and shoving. Try to never fall down as this could lead to being stepped on and possible squashed. If possible, find someone to hold on to if you feel this his happening.

Heavy Metal T Shirts – Concert Attire

Dress casually when attending a rock concert. High heels are not a great choice for a crowded situation as this. Heavy metal concerts goers normally wear heavy metal t shirts in black. Although anything is correct just so you feel comfortable. For the most part, most people do not care what others are wearing. Just use your brain and think about the best attire for the concert. Wearing heavy metal t shirts to concerts can be debatable, buy in my opinion, a good choice.

We have all gone to concerts and bought band tees. Without this purchase you cannot brag to your friends who didn’t get the chance to go. Band tees purchased at concerts are very, very expensive. These prices vary according to the artist performing. The prices of concert tees range anywhere from $25 – $50 in the United States. My friend bought a Britney Spears concert tee last month and paid $45. I attended a Steve Miller concert and his tees went for $25. However, The Eagles’ band tees cost a whopping $50 each. These prices are on top of the concert ticket charges. If you are smart and plan ahead you can save a pretty penny shopping online for band tees before arriving at the concert. This way you save your hard earned dough as well as being able to wear these band tees to the concert. This prevents you from having to keep up with your purchase during the concert. Waving your cell phone in the air while clutching band tees in the other gets redundant after a while.

Band Tees – Collections

Having grown up in the 80′s, I went to many hair metal concerts. During this time I purchased many concert band tees. During the 80′s I attended concerts by Telsa, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, Kiss, Poison, Motley Crue, The Cure, Warrant, Skid Row, Aerosmith, Ratt, Great White, Damn Yankees, and Van Halen. If I only had these concert band tees today I could make a fortune on Ebay. However the majority of them were worn out through and through. I think I remember waxing my car with a worn out Slaughter concert tee. Some people never actually wear these souvenirs. They have kept them packed up in a safe dark place throughout the years and have a wonderful collection. I don’t know what they are planning on doing with these collections but more power to them. Most of my concert band tees were white with black baseball arms. The front and back of these shirts were covered in graphics. On the front, most often, would be a graphic of the album cover. The back normally had a list of the concert venus for that specific tour.

Band Tees – Online Purchases

During the 80′s, I didn’t not have the choice of purchasing band tees online. But today is very different. A band tees purchase can be made easily from your home before you attend the concert. There are thousands of online stores selling band tees. The prices online are much better, even with shipping and handling added, than those at the concerts. For example, someone I know went to a Rhianna concert a few months ago. They purchased a Rhianna concert tee for $45. They were upset about their purchase because of the price of the concert tee. If only they had taken the time and bought online instead. The exact Rhianna concert they purchased I found online for less than half the price they paid! Take some time before you go to a concert and shop online. You will be happy by purchasing band tees online.
